Compensation Philosophy
We must attract, motivate, and retain highly qualified and dedicated employees. Employee compensation shall be externally competitive with other municipalities, following budgetary guidelines to promote financial responsibility. The City of Ogden shall also strive for internal organizational equity in employee compensation. Our organization will ensure our written pay plan procedures and practices are administered consistently and fairly.
