Ogden City Police Department

The Ogden Police Department is a group of 150 Sworn and 80 civilian employees dedicated to providing Ogden City residents exceptional Law Enforcement service.  The department is guided by a Vision Statement which is the foundation of our strategic plan.  Every member of the department is accountable for the execution of their part in the organizational plan.

The Ogden Police Department is committed to building relationships within Ogden City.  We do this through the efforts of the Chief’s Office, a Community Outreach Coordinator, and a commitment to hire a diverse group of officers and civilians.

OPD embraces technology and utilizes state of the art hardware and software to include Unmanned Ariel Vehicles, License Plate Reader technology and the Area Tactical Analysis Center to ensure Ogden City receives the best possible service.

As your Chief of Police, I value interaction with my community.  If you would like to speak with me, meet with me or have me attend an event in our community please reach out to my office at 801-629-8226.
