The Ogden City Council has launched a new website in an effort to increase transparency and access to the Council.
Prior to the January 30th launch, the City’s website was last updated in 2010, and the technology had become outdated. The new website provides enhanced search capabilities, responsive design, Google Translate technology, interactive maps and embedded social media and multimedia.
Residents can access the Council’s newly formatted Agendas and Minutes, find their representatives, learn how to participate in Council meetings, access information about Council initiatives and priorities, learn more about the Council’s responsibilities and Ogden’s form of government and access the latest Council news.
“We are constantly striving to be more transparent and accessible to residents,” City Council Chair Marcia White said. “The improved website is a tool for us to share information and connect with residents in ways we couldn’t with the old platform.”
