[ARCHIVED] Christmas Village is looking for Singers!

Gnome for the holidays (1)

Ogden's Christmas Village is looking for you!

We are working with Ogden Downtown Alliance to look for 8 to 10 artists (bands, soloists, musicians of differing genres, etc.) to record a variety of holiday songs in-studio.  The recorded songs will then be broadcasted over the speakers at Christmas Village for community members to enjoy as they stroll the Municipal Park.

We value paid artistry and take pride in being able to offer a platform to local musicians. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Ogden Amphitheater stage is unable to be programmed this December with live performances as it has been in years past.

Our solution? A digital concert series!

Similar to Friday’s Live by Farmers Market Ogden, local musicians will be hired to perform and will receive any audio and visual content captured to use for personal promotion, demos, social media pages, etc. Selected artists also will be featured on Ogden City Amphitheater's and Ogden Downtown Alliance’s websites and social media platforms.

Here is what you need to know:

Selected musicians will be recording in-studio in October & November

Solo artists will receive $100

Groups/bands will receive $75 per artist

Christmas Village opens at dusk on November 27 and closes January 1

Interested artists should submit online to Ogden Amphitheater’s Musician Database below.

We know Ogden has some of the best local musicians around, so apply now to help us with this unique project!
