It's almost the first Friday of the month in Ogden and that means it's art stroll time!
There are a few events happening on Friday, August 2.
1. Nurture the Creative Mind is having Music in the Air Piano Parade. It will happen during the art stroll from 7-8 p.m. Take a tour of the pianos on and around 25th street Ogden while local professionals and young pianists.
2. Ogden Twilight Concert with headliners Matt & Kim at the Ogden Amphitheater. Gates open at 5 and music starts at 6 p.m.
3. Ogden Food Truck Rally will have trucks lined up at Union Station ready to serve you from 6-9 p.m.
4.The Eccles Art Center is announcing its 45th Annual Statewide Competition Exhibit. This statewide competition is open to all artists who presently reside in the state of Utah. Original work in a variety of media, including paintings, prints, monoprints, drawings, graphics, pottery, sculptures, and textiles are eligible.
5. For the August Art Stroll O1ARTS will continue to feature a new exhibit. As an arts organization with a social mission, O1ARTS believes in Freedom of Expression (i.e., Speech), and is committed to bringing the Ogden community #ArtsWithPurpose.
6. The Diamond Room has a big announcement along with music from Rick Odell singing the classics and Andrew Shorts who is the owner of Wyze Media. He will showcase his spray paint art.
7. The Local Artisan Collective is having their annual Fashion Show at their location from 6- 9 p.m. Stop by and check it out!
