Juneteenth Heritage Festival Kickoff starts at the Gallivan Center in Salt Lake City on June 4 from 6-9 p.m. Then on June 15 from 6:30 - 8 p.m. at the Weber State University Davis Auditorium it is the State of Black Utah, Town Hall meeting and reception. On June 16 it is the Juneteenth Heritage Festival & Holiday at the Ogden Union Station from noon - 9 p.m. On June 19 it is the Health & Heritage Day, at the Calvary Baptist Church in Salt Lake City from 4 - 8 p.m. In the Davis County Library in Layton there will be a Juneteenth Film & Discussion from 6:30 - 8 p.m. on June 19 with the film on June 20 at Ogden's Peery Egyptian Theater from 6:30 - 9 p.m.
All the events are free with no tickets required.
Come out and engage in African American History with your friends and family. There will be live entertainment, soul food, vendors, health screenings and games.
