Chamber Orchestra will present the annual Red Dress Event at 7:30 p.m. on January 27, 2018. This concert event is sponsored by Ogden Regional Medical Center, in celebration of American Heart Month, which is February. This year the concert theme is “From the Hearts of our Musicians,” and will feature three of the orchestra members as soloists. We will begin the concert with Mozart’s Symphony No. 38 in D, K. 504 "Prague." Following the Mozart Steve Park, the orchestra’s principal horn will join the orchestra for Chabrier’s Larghetto for Horn and Orchestra. Next, Cara Richardson, clarinet, and Ryan Bell, the orchestra’s principal bass, will join together for a performance of Bottesini’s Duo for Clarinet and Double Bass. The orchestra will get in the last word, and end the concert with a performance of Tchaikovsky’s exciting Marche Slave, Opus 31.
