Keep Our Water Clean

Don't Pollute

Ogden City residents receive water from a number of fresh and groundwater sources. Mountains act as a mass storage system for our water during the winter months and help fill streams and lakes in the spring time.

Water Quality

Environmental water quality standards for surface waters such as lakes and rivers vary significantly due to different environmental conditions, ecosystems, and human uses. At times, high populations of certain microorganisms and toxic substances can present a health hazard not only for drinking water, but also for irrigation water, swimming, fishing, boating, and industrial uses. Wildlife, which use water for drinking or habitat, may also suffer from poor water quality. Please do your part to protect our fresh water sources. Think about everything that is at stake.
