The following are what an inspector looks for during a Driveway Approach Inspection.
- Concrete mix design submittal's to meet Ogden City specifications of 4,000 p.s.i. 6 ½ bag mix. Cold weather concrete bag mix design increases from 6 ½ bags to 7 ½ bags between October 1st to march 1st.
- Required road base depth placed and compaction test known prior to placement.
- Depth of concrete - commercial 8 inch depth - residential 6 inch depth.
- Expansion and control joint placement
- Broom finish.
